Search by Prints

For a total of 3443 digitalised items, five alphabetical indexes are available to consult the material from different printing presses from the second half of the 19th century to the first decades of the 20th century. We hold the following documents, catalogued according to their specific format:

         2062 broadsheets
•        126 booklets
  
         8 books
•        175 pliegos de cordel
  
  

An additional category, called Otros materiales, consists of diverse material that does not fit the formats listed above. This entry contains 63 items.

Search by Bibliography

The bibliographical criteria kept in the printed material database allow for precise queries in the entire collection:

• Search by incipit text
• Search by table of content text
• Search by publisher
• Search by collection or series
• Search by address of printing press or office
• Search by imprint
• Search by state of preservation
• Search by selling price

      The searching methods listed above yield the bibliographical classifications of the prints. It is also possible to make searches of literary character about the transcriptions in the text search section. Regarding more precise searches in the database, it is useful to become familiarised with the searching resources of the site.
